Hasbro Children’s Hospital recently received a $158,137 donation from the Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation, which was earned from proceeds of its fourth annual Iced Coffee Day.
During the promotion, participating restaurants donated $1 for every cup of iced coffee sold to Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Since the inception of Iced Coffee Day, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees have donated nearly $633,000 to the hospital.
“The funds raised will support the renovation of the sixth-floor family room to provide families with a more comfortable and inviting ‘home away from home’ during their child’s stay at the hospital,” said Dr. Robert B. Klein, pediatrician-in-chief at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. “We are grateful to the Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation, and the loyal Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees and customers, for contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past several years to support a wide range of essential programs at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.” •
