Independent Bank receives highest J.D. Power rating

ROCKLAND, Mass. – Independent Bank, parent of Rockland Trust, announced last week it has received the Highest Customer Satisfaction with Retail Banking in the North Central Region award from the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Retail Banking Satisfaction Study.

“I am very proud of our associates for achieving the highest rating in customer satisfaction. It’s exciting to see our service mission ‘to impress every customer every day, every time’ take flight and grow relationships with customers across the state,” said President Brad Kessel.

Independent Bank received the highest numerical score among retail banks in the North Central region in the proprietary J.D. Power 2012 Retail Banking Satisfaction Study. The study is based on 51,498 total responses. It measures 25 providers in the North Central region and measures opinions of consumers with their primary banking provider.

J.D. Power and Associates is a global marketing information services company that measures quality and satisfaction.
