James E. Purcell has been named senior counsel at Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP. Purcell was a founding partner of the firm in 1988, and rejoins the firm after serving most recently as president and CEO of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island from 2005 to 2011. He holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. •
