Why did you select your profession?
I was influenced by my father who started his career in public accounting. … The accounting profession has afforded me the ability to have a voice that is heard, respected and valued by clients and colleagues.

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
Developing the leaders of tomorrow is a critical mission of both my firm and the state. I see myself continuing that tradition.

A quote from Thomas Jefferson, “If you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done.”

Buy as many shares of Apple stock as you can.

What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
My favorite Rhode Island escape is Aquidneck Island. I proposed to my wife in Newport and it will forever hold a place in my heart. … Only a few square miles hold amazing restaurants, great beaches, beautiful parks and a rich history.

How do you keep a work-life balance?
My sons Brady and Connor remind me of the plan around 5 a.m. each morning.
