Jason A. Silva has been appointed assistant vice president, business development officer for the Business Banking Group at BankNewport. Most recently, Silva served as assistant branch manager and as interim branch manager of Citizen Bank’s Barrington office. He will now be responsible for commercial-lending origination and business development, with a focus on the East Bay market. •
