John Palumbo was recently appointed as the member-elected board member of the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau board. Palumbo, the owner and publisher of Rhode Island Monthly and its sister publication, is the board’s immediate past chair. He holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Rhode Island and will serve a three-year term in his new position. • •
