WARWICK – A new 100,000-square-foot Jordan’s Furniture is set to open in the Warwick Mall Dec. 21, the Massachusetts-based chain announced this week.
The new two-level store with in-store entertainment customer entertainment “attractions” is expected to have 100 employees and be an anchor tenant of the mall on Bald Hill Road.
The Dec. 21 ribbon cutting, scheduled for 10 a.m. to launch the store’s opening, will feature Jordan’s CEO Eliot Tatelman and Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian, and a private showing of “Splash,” laser-water-light show.
The new Warwick store joins Jordan’s locations in Reading, Natick and Avon, Mass., as well as Nashua, N.H. The chain also has an 800,000-square-foot warehouse in Taunton.
