Karen Rezendes has been promoted to news director for WPRI-TV. For the past 16 years, she has served as assistant news director and manager of special projects. During this time, the station was named AP News Station of the Year for nine consecutive years. Rezendes is an Emmy award winner and holds a B.A. in communications/radio TV production from Bridgewater State College. •
