Kent Hospital to host career open house

WARWICK – Kent Hospital will host an open house for high school and middle school students interested in pursuing a career in health care on Tuesday, April 9, from 4-7 p.m. in the hospital’s Doctors’ Auditorium. Parents, teachers and other interested individuals are encouraged to attend, hospital officials said.

At the open house, participants will have the opportunity to speak and connect with professionals in nursing, surgical services, cardiology, respiratory therapy, physical, occupational and speech therapies, diagnostic imaging, food and nutrition, and human resources.

In addition, several different colleges and universities that offer health care programs will be in attendance to answer questions.

Tours of the hospital will be available.
