Kent hosting event for breast-cancer survivors

WARWICK – The Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital, a collaboration with Women & Infants Hospital, will celebrate breast-cancer survivorship by hosting its fourth annual Breast Health Fair.
The event will be held May 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kent Hospital Doctors’ Auditorium. It is open to all cancer survivors, caregivers, staff and the community. Lunch will be provided.
At noon, there will be a case-study presentation: “Planted with love – How gardens and a healthy lifestyle can help us heal.” Panel members include Dr. Candace Dyer, physician director of The Breast Health Center at Kent; Dr. Angela DeRobertis, radiation oncologist; Ellen Healy, LMHC, clinical social worker and Lauren Talbert RD, CSO, LDN, dietitian, Women & Infants. •
