Kent launching advisory council

WARWICK – Kent Hospital is developing a Patient and Family Advisory Council to work with hospital leadership, clinical staff, patients and families to foster the patient-hospital relationship.
Kent is looking to recruit members who will advise on the best way to create and maintain a patient and family centered care culture. Members will be asked to identify opportunities for improving the patient and family experience and to advise on policies and best practices to support such a culture.
“The advisory council serves as a vehicle for patients, their families or caregivers to be involved in developing a creative and collaborative team working jointly to ensure that services, care and the overall hospital experience meet the patients’ needs and expectations,” said Sandra Coletta, president and CEO of Kent Hospital, in a statement.
Anyone interested in serving on the council can contact Susan Crossley, patient feedback coordinator, at scrossley@kentri.org. •
