Posted 6/18/12

PROVIDENCE – Kimberly Morris, a 25-year employee of Cornerstone Adult Services, has been recognized for exceptional service with the 2012 John Hedderson Award by LeadingAge RI.

The honor was announced at LeadingAge’s Quality of Life luncheon recently held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick.

Morris was singled out among the more than 2,000 employees of LeadingAge organizations for her unwavering commitment to the people in her care.

In nominating Morris for the award, her supervisor, Dottie Santagata, cited Morris’ “continuous and exceptional services to hundreds of Cornerstone participants,” and her willingness to go above and beyond the parameters of her job to help people in the Alzheimer’s Care Center.

The John Hedderson Award for Exceptional Employee Excellence was established in memory of the former administrator at the Villa at St. Antoine. Kimberly Morris is the ninth recipient of the award. •
