CRANSTON – Dr. Robert Leonard, chief surgeon and founder of Leonard Hair Transplant Associates, recently received the Laurence E. Bouchard Outstanding Service Award from the Rhode Island Society of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons for his exceptional dedication and years of service.

Leonard is a longstanding board member and former president of RISOPS, which provides advocacy, education and support for physicians practicing osteopathic medicine in Rhode Island and the patients they serve.

“Robert is an ardent supporter and advocate for our profession and I can think of no individual more deserving of this recognition,” Dr. James Griffin, president of RISOPS, said in a release. The award was first given to its namesake, Laurence E. Bouchard, in 2014. There are currently 98 active members in RISOPS.
