LOCAL RESIDENT NAMED ‘EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR’
BY EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS
(Warwick, R.I.)---Each year Express Employment Professionals, one of the nation’s largest staffing firms, hand-picks the top associates in their system and honors them with the esteemed Employee of the Year award. This year, Warwick Express associate Modesto Batista was named Rhode Island Employee of the Year for his significant career growth since becoming an Express associate.
Throughout his association with Express, Batista has proven himself as dependable, reliable, and hard-working. His supervisor had described Batista as being “a worker who is genuinely happy to come in every day, takes initiative, and will stay late if extra work presents itself.” His dependability, hard work, and accuracy have even earned him incentive pay with one assignment. Batista has been a go-getter and an asset to Express and their clients. According to Express, he has excelled in every facet of his work and continues to incite his values within everyone he encounters.
“Each year we find jobs for hundreds of thousands of associates, and we often come across truly exceptional individuals who deserve to be recognized for their hard work and dedication to their growing careers,” says Robert A. Funk, CEO of Express Employment Professionals. “The Employee of the Year award is the highest honor an Express associate can receive and we couldn’t be more pleased to bestow this award upon Modesto.”
Winners of the Employee of the Year award are chosen based on their unique story as a job seeker and their level of growth in their set career. Nominees are also selected because they exude a “Character of Excellence,” which means they are reliable, honest, hard working, have an exemplary attitude, and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure their and others’ success.
For the 2012 awards, three industry winners were chosen on the national level, five as regional winners and one per state or province on the local level. In total, 50 winners were awarded across North America. National winners receive $1,000 and a professional photo certificate; regional zone winners receive $750 and a professional photo certificate; and state/province winners each receive $500 and professional photo certificate.
