Loiselle honored for insurance-ed. work

PAWTUCKET – The president of a Pawtucket insurance agency earlier this month was honored for 30 years of helping to advance insurance education.
Bob Loiselle, president of Loiselle Insurance Agency, was recognized by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, which honored him with a certificate of recognition for his dedication to the counselors’ continuing education programs for three decades.
“The professional dedication and commitment represented by Bob sets the standard within our industry,” said Dr. William T. Hold, president of trhe Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. “This 30-year accomplishment signifies a career of active involvement in advanced insurance education. Bob’s emphasis on professional development positively reflects on the insurance profession as a whole.”
Loiselle was one of the first group of CIOCs to reach the 30-year milestone, according to a press release. He earned the designation through successfully taking a series of exams and through annual attendance at continuing education programs.
His agency has been serving families in the region since 1943, according to the release, and Loiselle and his two daughters represent the third and fourth generation of their family to work in the local insurance business. It employs 23 people and represents more than 25 companies.
