Join the JAYCEES on this nationwide day of community service!
Volunteers can assist with some light landscaping duties (i.e., raking, sweeping, trimming, weeding, watering and preservation work) and planting fall bulbs and autumn "mum' flowers at the award-winning JAYCEE Corridor & Arboretum and the portal entrance to the state Senator Donald Roch Riverwalk.
This is an ideal way to share with your neighbors, friends and dedicated volunteers on a back-to-back weekend of Fall frolic, community enjoyment and personal satisfaction out in the great outdoors.
The Arboretum ~ a beautiful 400 linear foot natural Esplanade ~ is the portal entrance to the state Senator Donald Roch RIVERWALK ~ a 1.3 mile Riverwalk wilderness trail ~ that meanders along the confluence of RI's longest waterway, the Pawtuxet River and its Watershed.
No training involved, just willingness to appreciate light activities of a public garden beautification in celebrating MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY!
