Madeline Parmenter has been named director of media relations for Providence College. She previously served as a member of the media staff for former governors Lincoln C. Almond and Donald L. Carcieri, in addition to former U.S. Sen. Lincoln D. Chafee. She holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
