As government and the private sector seek to jump-start economic re-growth in Rhode Island, we invite developers, property owners and state and municipal officials, bankers, engineers, real estate brokers & agents and planners to join us for this important discussion.

In the opening Panel Discussion Session, industry experts from Gilbane Development Company, Granoff Associates, LLC and Peregrine Group, LLC will present diverse mixed-use projects – including the Arcade, Rumford Center and Rhode Island School of Design’s Living Learning Centerand will offer their perspectives about financing, permitting challenges and what approaches some municipalities are taking to encourage developers to build in their communities.

Break-Out Sessions will drill down to more specific details of innovative financing, streamlined permitting and other practices that can help advance and promote community development. Co-led by representatives from the public and private sectors, these sessions are designed to

provide a fruitful exchange of ideas between government and the development community and to offer practical tools and concrete models of successful projects which you can take back to your offices. Private and Public Sector leaders will jointly share their perspectives on each

topic. The program offers ample time for networking.
