PROVIDENCE – Dr. Edward Martin, the chief medical officer for Home & Hospice of Rhode Island, received the Healthcare Professional Award from Partnership To Reduce Cancer in Rhode Island at its annual summit on June 19.
The Partnership to Reduce Cancer in Rhode Island is a broad-based coalition focused on implementation of programs and services around comprehensive cancer control.
“Dr. Martin has dedicated his career to helping ensure the highest level of care and quality of life for Rhode Islanders and their families dealing with end-of-life. We are so very proud of his work,” said Diana Franchitto, president and CEO of Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
