Matlet Group wins Asian American business award

PAWTUCKET – The Matlet Group won a Fast 50 Asian American Business Award from the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce.

The award was presented on June 5 at the USPAACC’s CelebrAsian 2012 Business Opportunity Conference in Bethesda, Md.

Gary Stiffler, president and CEO of The Matlet Group, accepted the award, which recognizes the 50 fastest growing Asian American-owned companies.

To qualify, companies must have revenue of at least $1 million and demonstrate revenue growth for the last three years. The business must also be at least 51 percent owned and managed by Asian Americans.

Matlet was nominated by the Walt Disney Company and UPS. This was the first time the company had been honored with the Fast 50 award.
