Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England recently presented the Schwartz Center for Children with a $15,000 grant. The grant will fund the center’s outdoor therapeutic play area, making it accessible for all of the center’s visitors.
“In our 65-year history, the Schwartz Center has never had a playground that was accessible to all of our children,” said Mary Hodgson, the center’s president and CEO. “With the help of RMHC of Eastern New England, we are able to give the gift of play to all of the children we are so honored to serve.”
Since1986, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England has given more than $22 million to organizations and programs, helping thousands of children and families throughout the region.
“We’re proud to support the Schwartz Center for Children in its mission to help ensure that all children receive the best care to meet their medical and developmental needs,” said Karen McEachern, executive director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England. &#8226
