PROVIDENCE – A free workshop will be held Nov. 4 at Tech Collective to help med-tech entrepreneurs.

“From concept generation to launch, this workshop provides a set of useful criteria to evaluate your big ideas based on their commercial potential, innovation and/or technical feasibility, newness of the concept or plan, and viability of a sustainable, competitive advantage,” a description about the workshop on the Rhode Island Business Plan website reads.

Called “Med-Tech Development Road Map,” the workshop will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Tech Collective, 166 Valley St., building 3. Pre-registration is required; click HERE.

Regulatory considerations will be discussed. A panel will be moderated by Nick Adams, president and co-founder of Care Thread, and will include Aidan Petrie, chief innovation officer and co-founder, Ximedica; Angelo Pitassi, founder/CEO, HealthID Profile Inc.; and Kathleen Moren, of Healthy Babies, Happy Moms Inc.
The workshop is one of several that are being offered as part of the 2016 Rhode Island Business Plan Competition.
