Meeting Street raises $6,000 to support kids

Meeting Street, a Providence-based children’s educational facility, recently announced that its 32nd Allstate Insurance and Bay Realty annual fundraiser raised $6,880 to help students of its programs.
More than 125 guests came out for the event, which was held at the Coast Guard House in Narragansett.
“For 32 years, Meeting Street has been able to count on this incredibly generous crowd for their support. Year in and year out, it is truly amazing to have so many guests raising money for the children of Meeting Street,” said John Kelly, Meeting Street president.
Meeting Street, which provides programs and activities for hundreds of children and young adults, is known for helping children with multiple and severe challenges. Meeting Street’s 7.5-acre campus offers an early-learning center, a K-5 educational program, high school curriculum for special-needs students as well as outpatient therapy programs that include: physical, occupational or sensory integration therapy. •
