Why did you select your profession?
I really enjoyed working in a biology laboratory as an undergrad. I knew I wanted to be in a scientific field where I could help patients receive quality medicines.

Whatever you choose to do, do it well.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Always follow your gut and don’t be afraid to take appropriate risks.
What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
Spending time with my family at the beach.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
I focus on my family on the weekends and leave work as much as possible for Monday through Friday. With a 24/7 operation, it’s key to have a great team you can rely on at work. … My family really helps keep me in the moment when I’m at home.
What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?
There isn’t anything in my professional career that I would like a do-over on. •
