Met program to focus on flexibility

PROVIDENCE – The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center, a state-funded public school system and local education agency, will launch a new program in March.

The Met Flex program is geared toward young adults, aged 16 to 21, who need flexible hours in earning their high school diploma.

The Met will launch the program on March 5; information nights will be held Jan. 31 and Feb. 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 325 Public St., Providence, at the Justice Building on the Met campus.

The program includes online classes, one-on-one tutoring, social service support, career counseling and internships.
