Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis, director of the R.I. Department of Transportation, has been named president of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. Lewis will focus on deploying new technologies, implementing reforms and the organization’s effort to pass the next surface transportation reauthorization bill. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Vermont. •
