Mitchell Schools open in Cranston center

CRANSTON – Paul Mitchell Schools has announced the opening of its newest location, Paul Mitchell The School Rhode Island, in the new Chapel View Shopping Center.
“Like every school in our network, the owners and staff share our common mission of doing so much more than merely producing beauty-school graduates,” Winn Claybaugh, Paul Mitchell Schools dean and co-founder, said in a statement. “We’re out to … make better human beings.”
The 12,000-square-foot building will train as many as 250 students at a time and will work and educate exclusively with Paul Mitchell products.
Instructors and students will follow an “aggressive, ongoing educational and cultural development program,” according to a news release.
The organization said that its belief is that “education is an adventure and the learning experience needs to be fun.” As such, each school seeks to provide students with essential skills in an environment that fosters passion and creativity. &#8226
