Mobiquity founds Wireless Innovation Council

BOSTON – Mobiquity, a mobile solutions firm with offices in Providence, founded the Wireless Innovation Council this month.

The council hopes to bring together “strategic decision makers to identify and collaborate on wireless innovation.”

“Just as we saw during the earlier client-server and Internet waves, the Global 2000 needs leadership and direction to navigate both the disruptions mobile computing creates and maximize the opportunities it avails for growth in revenue, innovation and ROI,” a news release said.

There are about a dozen of charter members; the exclusive academic research partners will be Babson College’s Center for Information Management Studies.
