Money Magazine: TD Bank among best

CHERRY HILL, N.J – Money Magazine has recognized TD Bank as been one of the nation’s best banks in their 2012 list of the “Best Banks in America.” TD’s Premier Checking account which pays interest, has no fees for using non-TD ATMs and no foreign transaction fees was specifically highlighted as the nation’s best high-balance account.
According to the magazine the bank offers “Impressive rewards for customers floating $12,500. Most big banks save their best terms for high-balance customers. Still, TD shines against peers: You pay no out-of-network ATM fees and get unlimited reimbursements for fees from other banks on checking.”
Also there is no foreign transaction fee on debits and the savings rates are above average.
In 2011, TD Bank earned the title “Best Regional Bank/East” from Money Magazine for several reasons, most notably extended and convenient hours, as well as better accessibility for free checking.
Bharat Masrani, president and CEO of TD Bank, elaborated on the bank’s goals in a statement to the press. “The recognition from Money is a validation of our commitment to providing our customers with superior value. We’re proud to be one of the Best Banks in America,” said Bharat Masrani, President and CEO, TD Bank. “From flexible product suites tailored to customer needs, to seven day a week store hours, to 24/7 live customer care, to holding an umbrella for customers in the rain, everything we do at TD Bank is designed to provide our customers with legendary experiences and unparalleled convenience.”
