CHARLESTOWN – Oyster Works LLC principal architect Megan Moynihan recently was recognized with the Green Architect Innovation Award at the Building the Sustainable Future conference at Rhode Island College.
Moynihan, a co-founder of the architecture and project management company, was selected for her work on a residential project called “Grasshopper,” a 1,600-square-foot house overlooking Green Hill Pond, a coastal salt pond in South Kingstown.
In a presentation at the conference, Moynihan discussed how building for climate change can reduce damage to homes and communities.
