NCUA hosting webinar

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The National Credit Union Administration is hosting an upcoming webinar for credit unions considering participation lending.
The 90-minute free webinar is slated for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, and those interested in participating can sign up online at ncua.gov. The webinar will be held by Vanessa Lowe, economic development specialist with the Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives at NCUA.
She will be joined by Mike Dorsett, president of Portfolio Performance LLC and Ian Lampl, CEO of LoanStreet, to discuss the participation lending issues.
Topics of discussion could include benefits of participation lending for buyers and sellers; due diligence for participation buyers; buyer and seller side case studies; and participation solutions in partnership with corporate credit unions, according to an announcement.
Lowe’s office aims to foster credit union development and delivery of financial services for small credit unions, small credit unions, minority depository institutions and credit unions with a low-income designation.
