NEIT lands ‘A+’ rating from Fitch

FITCH RATINGS affirmed the New England Institute of Technology’s long-term rating as ‘A+’, outlook stable.

NEW YORK – Fitch Ratings affirmed the New England Institute of Technology’s long-term rating as “A+,” outlook stable.

The global rating agency confirmed NEIT’s rating for $40 million of higher education facility revenue bonds issued by the R.I. Health & Educational Building Corporations.

“The ‘A+’ rating reflects NEIT’s record of strong operating performance, solid balance sheet resources and experienced management team,” said the report.

Founded in 1940, the Warwick-based college offers professionally focused undergraduate and graduate programs.
