NEIT offering freeze for early enrollment

EAST GREENWICH – The New England Institute of Technology is offering a tuition freeze to all individuals who enroll by Dec. 31, Seth Kurn, executive vice president at the school, announced this month. This will mark the 30th consecutive year the institution has offered the tuition freeze.

Individuals who enroll in any one of the college’s associate or bachelor’s degree programs and remain continuously enrolled in their chosen program until graduation will have their tuition frozen for their entire course of study at NEIT, Kurn said in a news release. The college offers more than 35 associate in science, bachelor of science and master of science degree programs at its three Rhode Island campuses.

“Tuition-freeze programs are certainly not new to New England Tech,” Kurn said. “By being exempt from any tuition increase, students will not only save money in these hard economic times, but they can better plan for financing their education. Student success is of utmost importance at New England Tech so assisting students with their financial needs is one way to help them stay on the path to graduation.” •
