Nancy Blount, president of Blount Small Ship Adventures, has been named to the board of directors of Discover Newport. Blount will serve a three-year term, representing the town of Warren. She has worked in the cruise industry for more than 40 years and regularly serves as a consultant for national organizations interested in marine and port development. •
