Narragansett Brick Co. house sells for $1.95M

BARRINGTON – Residential Properties Ltd. recently announced the sale of a historic property at 11 Nyatt Road, the former Narragansett Brick Co. house. The $1.95 million sale closed on Sept. 30.
The house has a history that began in 1865, as the Narragansett Brick Company House, a two-story, end-gable roof house built of local brick. In 1877, it was sold to Martin Dewing, a pioneer in the oyster business, according to a news release from Residential Properties.
In modern times, the house was renovated with a three-story saltbox-style addition. It is on a corner lot with a view of Moussachuck Beach.
Ceci Sartor, an agent in Residential Properties’ Barrington office, represented both seller and buyer in the transaction.
