Why did you select your profession? I remember my father giving me my first claw hammer when I was 8 years old and doing handyman work with him. I think that moment of my life started to slowly mold some of the hands-on and creative thinking I have developed over time. There is such an indescribable sense of accomplishment when working in construction and completing a project.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Your time spent volunteering with career-related nonprofits will be worthwhile because you’ll be able to meet with professionals in the industry.
What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby? I enjoy exercise training with Cross-fit Providence. It’s a community of local people having similar interests in health and wellness. It has become a part of my life. •
