WARWICK-BASED NETCENERGY is moving to Cranston to accommodate continuing growth, according to President Donald R. Nokes.

WARWICK – NetCenergy LLC has come a long way from the days Donald R. Nokes operated the IT company out of an office over his garage.
Nokes, president of NetCenergy, is getting ready to move his staff of approximately 50 to a leased space at 1125 Pontiac Ave. in Cranston.
It will mark the third move for the company that Nokes started in 2003 with three people, and represents the latest move to accommodate its growth.
Since May 2009, he’s been operating out of 231 Elm St. in Warwick. Before that, he had been in a rented building across from T.F. Green Airport since 2005.
He expects the move to Cranston to occur either late next month or sometime in October.
“We outgrew the place,” Nokes said recently about the Warwick location. “We moved here when we only had about 26 employees. Now we’re just under 50. We just can’t fit here anymore.”
The new building, which at 6,000 square feet is about twice the size of the old one, will allow the company to continue to grow, according to Nokes.
“We think this should hold us for the next several years,” Nokes said. “It’s a beautiful building and a great location.”

“I’m thankful for the business community in Rhode Island that’s helped us grow from three guys in a garage to taking on our third facility,” Nokes added.
