NetCenergy offers cloud-computing service

WARWICK – IT solutions company NetCenergy has launched a desktop managed cloud-computing service for its customers, the company announced last week.

“As clients move to more cloud-based applications, there is a greater dependence on making sure their PCs and/or laptops are running at optimal levels to minimize interruptions to their productivity,” Jack Simpson, executive vice president of sales and marketing said in a statement.

The service provides proactive support for NetCenergy customers that do the majority of their work online, ensuring optimum speeds and limited work interruptions by offering remote support, phone assistance and predefined response times for emergency and non-scheduled service calls.

The Netcare Desktop Central Managed Service takes “many of the time-consuming tasks away from the end users and automates them, allowing NetCenergy’s clients to turn their attention away from their IT, and back to achieving their core business,” according to the company.

Customers of the Warwick-based IT firm are offered three different pricing alternatives depending on what fits their needs.

The service can be implemented on the client’s existing server, a virtualized machine or on a separate appliance.
