NEWPORT – An oceanfront cottage built in 1870, with a view of First Beach, sold recently for $1,842,500.
The property, at 3 Cliff Terrace, is fully restored with a wraparound porch. It has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, according to a property listing. The home features a mansard roof with wooden shingles, and sits on a .13-acre lot.
The list price was $1,995,000, according to the website of Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty, which represented the seller.
The home last sold for $1.5 million in February 2008, according to the Vision Government Solutions website for Newport properties.
Residential Properties Ltd. was the buyer’s representative. Mary Ann Lisi was the agent. The seller’s representative was Gustave White sales associate Dina Karousos.
