Nicholas named interim head of ONE Neighborhood Builders

PROVIDENCE – Wendy Nicholas, the longtime former executive director of the Providence Preservation Society, will serve as interim executive director of ONE Neighborhood Builders, the nonprofit community development organization announced Thursday.
Nicholas was executive director of the Preservation Society from 1981-1994. She also served recently as interim executive director for the Fenway Community Development Corp. in Boston.
Frank Shea recently announced he would leave as director of ONE Neighborhood Builders to become CEO of Urban Edge Boston, a community redevelopment organization that serves the Jamaica Plain and Roxbury neighborhoods.
