PROVIDENCE – Rhode Islanders are being given the chance to give their opinion about digital learning for grades kindergarten through 12, thanks to an online poll from Digital City RI, a group of educators and community leaders concerned about teaching and education in Rhode Island.
The poll, which is brief and anonymous, allows the public to share their thoughts and opinions about education in Rhode Island. Questions include: “K-12 school policies on using cellphones and social media for learning are needed” and “in-school filtering policies should not block online resources like Google.”
The poll can be found on the Digital City website: www.digitalcityri.org/index.php/news.
The 12-question poll is open until Oct. 23. Results will be presented on Oct. 25 at the R.I. Department of Education’s Technology Day.
