PC Center for Business Studies nears completion

PROVIDENCE – Providence College recently held a “topping off” ceremony for construction of the Arthur and Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies, a $30 million facility under construction by Providence-based Dimeo Construction Co.
The ceremony makes note of the installation of the final beam in construction. The 64,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in January 2017, according to a news release.
The center is named for Arthur Ryan, an alumnus of Providence College, and his wife, Patricia. Arthur Ryan was president and COO of Chase Manhattan Bank, and chairman and CEO of Prudential Financial Inc. before his retirement in 2008.
