Why did you select your profession?
I always enjoyed math. My senior year of high school I took accounting and was hooked.
Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
In 10 years I see myself as a partner at DiSanto, Priest & Co., as one of the key contributors helping the company grow.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, worry about yourself.
What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
Every fall I enjoy participating in the BoldrDash race at Yawgoo Valley. There probably aren’t too many accountants who enjoy mud runs, but I enjoy the challenge.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
I’m lucky. There’s a saying in the office that we work to live, not live to work.
If you could choose another profession, what would it be?
I would be a college professor. •
