Patricia Carlin has been appointed to vice president and assistant controller at Bank -Newport. Carlin has been with the bank since 1999 and most recently served as assistant vice president and assistant controller. She is now responsible for managing all aspects of the bank’s accounting area. Carlin holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and financial management from Salve Regina University. •
