MODELS FOR WISHES

The New England Cinderella Scholarship Pageant’s 2011 Overall Royalty will host a Model for Wishes event from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22. The fashion show, silent auction and raffle will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The event will also include a boutique, vendors, cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. Opportunities Unlimited Inc., a nonprofit that provides support services to those with differing abilities, will present the fifth annual A Taste of Wine & Art on Tuesday, April 24, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy light fare, wine and an art auction, with proceeds benefitting the Opportunities Unlimited program. A Taste of Wine & Art will be held at the Roger Williams Park Casino, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence. The Wolf School has scheduled its 10th annual Discover the Difference cocktail party and reception, featuring live and silent auctions, to take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25. Proceeds from the evening will benefit The Wolf School, which is designed for students with multiple learning difficulties. Discover the Difference will be held at the R.I.
