DUNES GALA
Thundermist Health Center will hold its annual fundraising gala, Moonlight at the Dunes, Friday, June 8 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at The Dunes Club, 137 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Attendees will enjoy an evening of dining, dancing, raffles and auctions. Entertainment will be provided by Nancy Paolino and The Black Tie Band. SPAGHETTI DINNER
The Rhode Island chapter of the Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation will hold its third annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser for hydrocephalus awareness Saturday, June 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, 1303 Medon Road, Cumberland. The dinner will feature a DJ, silent auctions and raffles. Tickets purchased prior to the event are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 to 12. Tickets will also be available at the door. WALK AND ROLL FUNDRAISER
United Cerebral Palsy of Rhode Island will hold its third annual 5K Life Without Limits Walk and Roll on Sunday, June 10 at Roger Williams State Park at 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m. Participants can enjoy music, lunch and free carousel rides. KATIE DeCUBELLIS MEMORIAL RUN/WALK
The 13th annual Katie DeCubellis Memorial Foundation run/walk and family fun day will be held Sunday, June 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Narragansett High School, 245 South Pier Road, Narragansett. Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. The half-day event will celebrate the life of Katie DeCubellis, a 13-year-old killed by a drunk driver in 1999. Runners of all skill levels are welcome. GROOVY GIRLS ART SHOW
Groovy Girls, a collaborative program to empower girls waiting to be adopted, will present an art show and silent auction Thursday, June 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. All artwork on display and for auction will be created by girls in the program. The event will be held in the Vera Mason Community Room at Child and Family, 31 John Clark Road, Middletown. This event is free and open to the public.
