ST. VINCENT’S SUMMER CELEBRATION

St. Vincent’s will host its fourth annual Kick-off to Summer Celebration Friday, June 29 from 6 to 11 p.m. on the deck of the USS Massachusetts, 5 Water St., Fall River. Guests will enjoy live and silent auctions, complimentary beer and wine, a cash bar and food with music and dancing to the World Premier Band. Funds raised will benefit the youth in Saint Vincent’s life skills program who are transitioning to independent living and young adulthood. Tickets: $100. CELEBRATE MATUNUCK

The South County Garden Club of Rhode Island will sponsor a tour of five private gardens and the historic Hale House in Matunuck Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds will go toward the preservation of open space by the South Kingstown Land Trust and the restoration of gardens at the Hale House. The event will be held rain or shine and take place at the South Kingstown Land Trust Barn, 17 Matunuck Beach Road, South Kingstown. Tickets: $30 in advance, $35 on-site the day of the tour. NEWPORT SECRET GARDEN TOUR

Secret Garden Tours of Newport will host walking tours Friday, June 29, Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to benefit Rhode Island public schools. The tours will begin at Storer Park, 32 Washington St., Newport. The route will take participants through Newport’s historic Point neighborhood, offering access to more than a dozen private gardens featuring eye-catching landscapes, pools, fountains, waterfronts and more. ROGER WILLIAMS ZOOBILEE

Roger Williams Park Zoo will hold its annual fundraiser, Zoobilee!, Saturday, June 30 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the zoo, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence. Partygoers will feast with the beasts, enjoying local fare and cocktails. The adults-only event will also feature live music, dancing and a wine bottle bazaar. All proceeds will benefit the zoo’s environmental education and wildlife conservation programs. Tickets: $100 members, $125 nonmembers. IYRS SUMMER GALA

IYRS will hold its annual summer gala Saturday, July 7 from 5:30 p.m. to midnight at the school’s waterfront campus, 449 Thames St., Newport This year’s theme is “Mastering the Craft: Celebrating 15 Years of Excellence.” Gala-goers will see a showcase of the craftsmanship produced by IYRS students, plus a series of micro-exhibits that document the school’s achievements.
