PAR FOR A CAUSE GOLF TOURNAMENT

COASTAL CLEANUP AT LOCAL BEACHES
The Audubon Society of Rhode Island invites volunteers to participate in area beach cleanups from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 15. Part of the International Coastal Cleanup, workers will bring work gloves and trash bags to collect trash and document their findings. Data collected is published in an annual report. FOSTER PARROTS OUTDOOR GALA
Foster Parrots, a parrot rescue organization, will host its fifth annual fall fundraising gala at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16 at the New England Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary in Hope Valley at 87 Woodville Alton Road, Hopkinton. The outdoor, tented event will feature a champagne welcome reception with an open wine and beer bar, a vegetarian buffet and sanctuary tours. The Providence Rotary Club will sponsor the second annual Providence Rotary Paint Off from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the Providence Art Club, 11 Thomas St., Providence.
