SOUP BOWL SUPPER

The Salvation Army and the Standard-Times will host the third annual Soup Bowl Supper from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the United Fisherman’s Club, 639 Orchard St., New Bedford. Attendees will receive a handmade ceramic bowl and be served unlimited soup and bread donated by local restaurants. The event will also include local art, entertainment and a silent auction in hopes of raising at least $200,000. All proceeds will benefit the Neediest Families Fund. Tickets: $50 per person. CWE CAPITAL ARTS AUCTION

The Center for Women and Enterprise will hold a capital arts auction from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Greenhouse in Hope Artiste Village, 1005 Main St., Pawtucket. The event is a silent art auction featuring works of all mediums by local artists and designers. Refreshments will be served. Those interested can arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a preview party, which includes an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and a fashion spotlight presented by Donahue Models and Talent. Business or creative attire is suggested. Proceeds will benefit participating artists and the Center for Women and Enterprise. RICJ DIAMOND JUBILEE

Rhode Island for Community and Justice will host its 60th annual Community and Justice Awards during a Diamond Jubilee celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the rotunda of the Rhode Island Convention Center, 1 Sabin St., Providence. During the event, the organization will celebrate its 60th anniversary and honor 130 Rhode Islanders who have worked for social change from 1952 through today. PROJECT COVER-UP COAT DRIVE

The Furniture Bank of Rhode Island will host the 12th annual Project Cover-Up winter clothing drive through Nov. 19.
