SPIRIT OF HOMES AWARDS

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares will host its 12th annual Spirit of Home Awards celebration and fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 at Providence Art Club, 11 Thomas St., Providence. During the event, one local resident will be presented with the Community Cares Spirit award, which recognizes efforts that positively impact the homeless. The evening will feature hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and a cash bar for cocktails. Proceeds will benefit Crossroads Rhode Island. Tickets: $75. LADIES SHOPPING NIGHT

Confreda Farms will host a ladies shopping night from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 at the farm, 2150 Scituate Ave., Hope. The event will help benefit Children’s Wishes. The event will include wine tastings, food, door prizes and items available for purchase from local vendors. No registration is necessary. Donations will be accepted at the door. BENEFIT CONCERT

Children’s musicians Bill Harley and Keith Munslow will hold a concert and CD release party to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank on Saturday, Nov. 17 in the Lincoln School’s auditorium, 301 Butler Ave., Providence. The duo will celebrate the release of their new song, “It’s Not Fair to Me,” with performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets: $10 general admission, $15 reserved seats. CASINO NIGHT IN NEWPORT

The Canfield House will host its annual casino night to benefit Children’s Wishes at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the restaurant, 5 Memorial Blvd., Newport. Those interested are invited to relive the charm of the casino era with a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, a three-course dinner, wine and beer stations, a scotch bar, cigars and $1,000 in gaming chips. PET PICTURES & HOLIDAY BAZAAR

The Little Rhodie Bully Breed Club will present its second annual Santa pictures and holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18 at Johah Community Center, 830 Oakland Beach Ave., Warwick. Those interested can bring their pets to be photographed with Santa and made into holiday cards for $25. In addition to a variety of vendors, there will be raffles and door prizes. All proceeds will benefit the club, which aids pit bulls in local shelters. Admission: $1 per person. Pictures are by appointment only.
